Course Description

Class dates: November 3, 10, 17, 25, & December 1. Bolster recruiting in the marketplace by learning to identify, retain, and develop team members through gender-balanced practices. The goal of the course is to create a better work environment for all employees by learning to implement inclusive, culture-building best practices. The course will include interactive interviews with HR and Legal experts, and subject matter experts. Cary is well known for creating the "Women On Their Way" travel program, still the longest running women's marketing program in the hospitality industry. Women On Their Way was cited by Dow Jones News Service as the "gold standard" of women's marketing programs for Wall Street, while Cary was in charge of the program at Wyndham International.

In addition to Wyndham, Cary has held executive positions with the American Cancer Society, The Peabody Hotel, U.S. Senator Howard Baker, Meeting Professionals International and the Alliance for Women in Media. Her current board activities include: Women Impacting Public Policy, Foundation Board, 2003-2015 ; Conscious Capitalism, Founder and Chapter Chair, Dallas, 2013-2015; Press Club of Dallas, Board, 2014-18.
